Thank you for visiting my little corner of the internet. Here I have shared my favorite photographs I have taken over the years. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
I started photographing in July 2010. The iPhone 3G came recently and it was my first phone with a half decent camera. A website listed the Hipstamatic App as a must have purchase so I grabbed it. I was immediately blown away. The fun selections of lenses, films and flashes (I know they're just filters) encouraged me to experiment and play. There was no need to worry about all the technical jargon that can come with a real camera. Just go out there and experiment, try and see what works. Occasionally I would take a very good photo but at that time I didn't realize how to do that consistently. You can see a few of my favorites on the right.
In late 2013, I was seriously debating if I should invest in a real camera. I got to the point where I could push the limits of what a iPhone could do. Then on Christmas my parents inadvertently gave me the push I needed. They bought me a nice set of lenses to attach to my iPhone. At that point I knew it was time for me to make the switch.
A few days later my first real camera came in (Olympus E-PL5) and I was off on my photographic adventure. I plunged myself into my new hobby and it hasn't let go since. My camera is my trusted companion always by my side waiting to capture those special fleeting moments. Every time I go out with my camera I know there is an opportunity to capture something special.
