Horses in Concord, MA
There is a small private horse farm near the Minuteman national park. I happen to be driving by and noticed two were grazing that day.
Plum Island
Newburyport MA
Snowy field in Harvard MA
This was one of my first landscape photography shots. Taken at a snowy field near the Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge. Many months later I realized I placed the fence on the "rule of third" quadrants.
Raindrop
This was a photo in my backyard. You can barely make out the three trees in the background. I used the raindrop as a lens focus on the trees.
Daffodils at Old North Bridge
One of my first early morning trips. This photo was taken at Old North Bridge in Concord, MA.
Bridge to no where
This is part of a draw bridge system over one of the channels in downtown Boston. This was one of the first compositions I took where I really tried to simplify as much as possible.
Tulips in the Boston Common
Taken really low to emphasis the view a bug would have
Sunset at Walden Pond
I was driving home that night from work and I noticed the cloud formation. I had to go out that night and make some photos. This was one of the very last taken and I almost got locked out of the parking lot. I think it was worth it.
Acton Town Center
Another experiment with long exposure photography. The small aperture creates the star burst effect in the street lights. Notice anything funny in the cannon?
Happy Tree
A person carved this in a tree in Downtown Boston. I believe the tree is in Post Office Square.
Downtown Boston
This is a six shot panoramic of Boston's southern skyline. This is near the Boston Children's Museum.
Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary
Concord Rotary
Early mornings in the fall in New England can occasionally cause a lot of fog to appear. I'm glad I had my camera with me to capture this beautiful morning.
Minute Man Trail, Concord MA
The minute man park in Concord MA documents some historical places during the revolutionary war.
Acton Arboretum
I looked up and was stunned how closely the tree matches the pattern in the clouds.
Walden Pond, Concord MA
This hike started off as rainy but eventually the sun broke through the clouds.
Oriental Ball Flowers
Taken in my backyard.
Rose of Sharon Buds
Another backyard photo.
Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, Concord MA
My lens flared from shooting it directly in the sun but I loved the affect. Divine intervention?
Winter is Coming!
Taking my camera out on the first snowfall of the season. I looked high up and saw these red leaves covered in snow. The white background is the cloudy sky. Yes I am a Game of Thrones fan.
Hollies in Snow
Taken in my backyard during the first snowfall of the season.
Grass blades in snow
Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge
Two little baby pines were poking out of the fresh snow.
